There is an icy wave coming over Pulp City, so get your warm coat ready!
I had the pleasure this week of painting a prototype of Cold Front, a future release by Kitbash Games. This big bad supreme with a freezing theme is a Blaster associated with two factions, Red Republik and Trinity Inc.
I tried to stick closely with the official colour scheme. It isn’t perfect, but I’m still quite pleased with the final results. I could probably have gone farther on the white highlights of the cooling tubing and icicles, but it already felt like a lot before the picture.
I also tried a new effect paint (AK Frost Effect), to make the frost around the boots. I like the look of it, but I’m not sure it fits that well with the comic style of the model. I’ll have to try it on some more realistic paint style next time.
